Tomorrow, Sierra Nevada 2017 passes the baton to Park City 2019 (Utah, United Sates) in the organization of the next FIS Freestyle Ski & Snowboard World Championships 2019, in a ceremony that will be held in the finish line of the Loma de Dílar course, right after the last competition of the World Championships, which will be Freestyle Ski Slopestyle.
Some days ago, a delegation of the North American ski resort came to Sierra Nevada to follow the World Championships in Granada, and to observe the different organizational aspects, ranging from those related to competitions, ceremonies, race office, press room or television, amongst other areas.
The closing ceremony will count with the presence of volunteers, riders, students of Sierra Nevada’s school, snowcats and snowmobiles, as well as other members of the organization.
Representatives of the Organizing Committee of Sierra Nevada 2017 and the Royal Spanish Winter Sports Federation (RFEDI) will deliver their speeches before the FIS flag is handed over to the representatives of Park City.
